Be Yourself & Do Your Best - Atie & Azza 2 AF5

Lovely Atie Abu Bakar and Azza Suaymi who finished 10th and 12th in Akademi Fantasia 1, respectively, advise the students of Akademi Fantasia 5 (AF5) to be themselves and do their best in the reality talent show.

"It does not matter what position you are in, because at the end of the day, everybody is a winner.

"As a student of Akademi Fantasia, one should do his/her best and be true to himself/herself.

"One should also make full use of one's daily lessons from the Akademi Fantasia teachers and principal," said Atie, from Janda Baik in Bentong, Pahang.

Atie said that Akademi Fantasia students should not pretend to be persons other than their true selves, because the show's SMS voters ultimately like persons who are happy with who they are.

"If you get eliminated early, it isn't the end of the world. In some instances, those who did not win became successful in their singing or acting careers," she said.

Azza, of Ampang near Kuala Lumpur, said: "The most important lesson AF taught me is team work and friendship. We socialised like one big family, sharing laughter and tears.

"It is a journey I will cherish forever."

Atie and Azza are both budding actresses, having discovered their true talents in AF.

However, they occasionally sing in road shows and special programmes organised by AF producer Astro TV.

Azza said: "I fully believe that an artiste who graduates from AF and other reality shows is more prepared to face the less-than-kind entertainment world.

"In AF, one gets sound guidance from experts in the music industry."

Atie said: "AF taught me about being Malaysian. I learnt a lot about Malaysians of various races and cultures in the reality show.

"Reality shows such as AF, Malaysian Idol, Mentor and One In A Million are effective in uniting young Malaysians and helping the government realise national unity."

AF5 begins on March 11, 2007.

Atie & Azza Nasihati AF5 Jujur Kepada Diri & Buat Terbaik

"Jika saudara-saudari terkeluar awal, jangan bimbang.

Atie berkata: "AF mengajar saya menjadi orang Malaysia.
