Diddy And Dafi Pay Tribute To Latiff Ibrahim

Diddy Muhid and Dafi Ismail Sabri send their condolences to the family of the late singer and actor Latiff Ibrahim who passed away of a heart ailment on February 20, 2012.

They describe him as a man for all seasons and a legend of screen and song.

Diddy acted with Latiff in the musical Terima Kasih Cinta and Dafi acted with Latiff in the musical Kenangan Mengusik Jiwa at the National Theatre, Kuala Lumpur in 2011.

Latiff's sister Datuk Khadijah Ibrahim was one of the judges in Akademi Fantasia 7.

Idols Pay Tribute To Houston

The American Idol luminaries and their Malaysian counterparts, most notably Jaclyn Victor, have paid glowing tribute to the late Whitney Houston who passed away of a heart ailment on February 11, 2012, two days before the Grammy Awards.

Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, Steve Tyler, Kara DioGuardi, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Jaclyn, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Elliott Yamin and Jordin Sparks (who acted with Houston in Sparkle which Houston produced) among others have described her passing as a tragic and sad day for music.

They have hailed Houston as the First Lady Of Song, who inspired millions to walk in her footsteps.

Jaclyn and Elliott are honoured to have performed with Houston during her visit to Malaysia in 2007.

Jaclyn's fellow Malaysian reality talent stars, such as Burn Thevandran, Vince Chong and Marsha Londoh also paid tribute to Houston.

At a loss over the death of Izwan, Aril says Izwan was the man who encouraged him to be a successful singer, actor and TV personality.

"Izwan and I were always close and he was always my number one fan and critic. The last time I saw him, he told me to excel in what I do and always be humble," says Aril.
