Lovely Ekin Rahman of Labuan hails Stacy Anam, champion of Akademi Fantasia 6 (AF6) and Ayu Damit, champion of One In A Million 2 (OIAM2) as the Stars of Borneo.
She is proud that women of Borneo have finally conquered the country’s two most popular pop reality shows.
“They’ve followed in the footsteps of Pija Yasin, champion of Mentor 1. I’m so proud of them. This is a great year for singers of Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan,” she said.
Ekin is also very happy that her dear friend Adam Mat Saman has now emerged as the SMS King, at least in the Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) Charts Awards 2008.
He beat ex-SMS King Mawi Ani in the Most Popular Song category of 2008.
Ekin prays for the well-being of all her Sabahan and Labuanese reality show stars as well as Nikki Palikat’s mentor Ning Baizura and her very own neighbour in Labuan, Rehana (Han) Yunus who won talent contest Stars Of RTM 2007.
She also wishes Ning and her husband Christopher Dalton a happy marriage, a Happy Kaamatan to all Sabah artistes and a Happy Gawai to all Sarawak artistes and Ning’s manager Vernon Kedit.
